2. My boy makes the BEST taco salads! I don't know what he does, but all I can say is yUUUUm!
3. I made chocolate chip pan cookies today. I have been meaning to use my Stevia cookbook some more, so I whipped it out today for some inspiration.
Chocolate Chip Pan Cookies
by: www.makingfoodandotherstuff.wordpress.com
3/4 c softened margarine
1 c MoreFiber Baking Blend
1/2 c brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs (I used 3 eggs because it was really dry)
3 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c chocolate chips
Mix the flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl. In a separate bowl, cream the margarine with the MoreFiber Baking Blend. Add vanilla and eggs and mix thoroughly. Add in the flour mix a bit at a time stirring until combined. Add the chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes.
I cut my piece out right away so it was a little crumbly, but SO moist and sweet and delicious and I could go on for days.... just do me a favor and make this recipe so I don't have to come back and ramble on about these cookie bars.
4. Saturday I am running 13.1... by myself. After debating for a long time I finally decided to save some money and just run it on my own Saturday morning. I'm hoping that I can mentally do it, I have never run that far on my own before. Saturday's going to look a little something like this...
7:45 am- Run unofficial half marathon
10:00 am- Shower and breakfast
10:30 am- PT client
11:00 am- Rest/nap
12:00 pm- Hit the road for GB!
Busy morning, but it will all be worth it!
5. I am going to Green Bay this weekend to see one of my girlfriends/former basketball teammates/the girl whose wedding I am standing up in next summer and for the Packer game! Enough said. Can't wait :)
GO PACK GO!
What are you doing this weekend? Anyone going to any big events (ie sporting events, races, etc.)
Those cookie bars look great! I've never baked with stevia before but I'm interested in trying it!
ReplyDeleteHave fun this weekend! Glad you're in love with your foam roller...I too spend WAY too much time on it!
ReplyDelete@HollyI only baked with It a few times, but I like it! I won my items from a giveaway, so we'll see if I buy more when I run out, it's a little pricier than your average sweetener. Definitely try it if you get the chance!
ReplyDelete@Vanessa @ Gourmet RunnerThanks! I hopped on my roller right after my long run, felt so good. Runner's best friend :)
